Louis Martin, OD
Louis Martin, OD, is a compassionate and gifted optometrist who has been serving the communities of Spartanburg, South Carolina, since 2005. At Eyes On Henry, Dr. Martin provides personalized eye care services to patients of all ages, protecting their vision and eye health.
After graduating from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Martin earned his Doctor of Optometry at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He served his residency at the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia, where he completed specialized training in ocular disease. He’s also a member of the American, South Carolina, and Piedmont Optometric Associations.
Dr. Martin offers comprehensive eye exams, corrective lenses, and treatments for eye disease, but also takes time to explain eye health to his patients. He believes that information empowers patients to make the best possible choices about their eye health. Dr. Martin takes time to answer questions and help patients feel comfortable and confident while under his care.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Martin is active in the Spartanburg Lions Club. He and his wife (Dr. Janell Martin) and their four children are involved in their church, Spartanburg First Baptist.

Dr. Martin graduated from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She also completed an ocular disease residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. She has been practicing in Spartanburg since 2005. Dr. Martin is a member of the American, South Carolina, and Piedmont Optometric Associations.
Dr. Martin and her husband are active in their church, Spartanburg First Baptist. She and her husband have four young children. When free time can be found, Dr. Martin can usually be found with a good book in hand.

Janet joined the team in 2016
Janet is married. She has 3 sons and 9 grandchildren
Janet loves having the opportunity to help out with the eye care needs of the community. She loves the fact that the team treat one another like family.
If she could be anywhere other than work, she would be anywhere with sand and waves or she would love to travel to the Italian Alps.
Two things on her bucket list are traveling to Ireland and skydiving. Her hobbies include gardening, baseball/softball and making memories with her family
Spending time with her family making memories is what makes her happiest.
Two causes that are important to her are child abuse prevention and Woodruff Youth Recreation Association which she has been involved with for over 30 years.
